Volunteers Needed

The Southern Miss cross country team is seeking volunteers for its meet on Friday, Sept. 3, at Tatum Park. Events will begin with the girls high school race at 2 p.m., followed by the boys high school race, female college race, and men’s college race. Events should conclude by 4:15 p.m. For more information, contact Coach Shane Brandford at 601.266.5420.

To commemorate this year's gift from the club In support of a scholarship for a Southern Miss cross country/track and field athlete, club members are taking a photo with the Southern Miss cross country team at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 24, prior to the Trek the Trace event. The more the merrier! If you can be there and want to be a part of the photo, please RSVP your attendance by reply to the related post in the forum.

MS Runner's Tag Coming Soon
The pacers will soon be offering the MS Runner's Tag. If you sign up through the pacers, some of the proceeds will benefit the Pinebelt Pacers. We are waiting for the contract from the organizing committee. As soon as we have the contract, the application will be made available for the tags. Tags are expected to be available January 1, 2011, but are not guaranteed until 300 tags are sold. The tags will be $31.00 per year. The goal is to have 300 tags, statewide, by mid Oct.
