Lifetime Member Awards

As many of you know, in February 2005 the Pine Belt Pacers were fortunate to receive a significant donation from Khalid Khannouchi toward the purchase of a race clock for the club.

In order to properly thank him, the club presented him with the first "Pine Belt Pacer Lifetime Membership" award. Basically, the award means Khannouchi, who is also a dues-paying member of the club, will no longer be required to pay dues to maintain his membership following this year. More about Khalid and his achievements.

The plan is to bestow this same honor on other distinguished Pine Belt Pacers, by vote of the club's officers, in the coming years.  The award will be given to those who have given freely of their resources, be it financial or time, and have significantly impacted the club in a positive way.
